When I was 18, I had my thyroid removed, which resulted in a lifelong condition that I’ve been managing ever since. In early 2024, a flare-up led to significant hair loss, inspiring me to find a gentle way to style my hair. This journey brought me back to my sewing machine, and I began creating scrunchies.
